Who are we?

Allan & Ronda Glover, along with their sons Peter & Steve, began selling Prairie Mac (now MacDon) and Melroe pickups in 1978 from their farm at Brooker on the Eyre Peninsula in South Australia. Being a third generation cereal farmer, Allan had been looking at different ways to combat cropping losses to wind damage when he came across the Canadian-made Prairie Mac pull-type windrower. The idea of windrowing a crop (cutting standing crops down in to rows) was that the crop would be less susceptible to wind damage and more grain could be harvested. He and his sons started windrowing their barley in 1977 and haven't looked backed since.

Brooker Farm Supplies operates from the Glover's main farm in Brooker, and has been run by Peter & Steve since Allan's passing in 1995. Peter and Steve continue to farm with their sons and their families in the Brooker, Karkoo and Yeelanna areas trading as 'Westbrooke Ag'. They windrow their barley, canola & bean crops with their MacDon M155 tractors, as well as reaping their crops with their MacDon D65 and MacDon D140 fronts.
